JKAMSA to hold speed dirt track championship from Dec 17

The Jammu and Kashmir Adventure Motor Sports (JKAMSA) will organize the 10th speed dirt track racing championship from December 17-19 in Jammu.
This was announced by the State Minister for Health Chowdhary Lal Singh, who is also the chief patron of the JKAMSA.
The government was keen to create better infrastructure across the State to give impetus to the sporting activities.
"The 10th speed dirt track racing championship (SDTR) will be held from from December 17 to 19 at M A Stadium and Parade Ground in Jammu", he said.
The JKAMSA is also conducting other events including, Ladakh Motor Expeditions Women Car Rally, Mobike Rallies and Dirt Track Races for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir.

About 30 to 40 bikers are expected to participate in the race in the category of below 180 CC, covering Approx nine km distance. A cash prize amounting to Rs 50,000 has been earmarked for the winners.
