Police Commissioner Ashok Rathore will attend the public hearing, along with his deputies and SHOs of all police stations from East Zone, at the commissionerate office to receive complainants from the common men.
The hearing is scheduled from 11 am to 1 pm but it "will continue till the last person present is heard", Rathore said.
"Though we have regularly been receiving feedback from field officers like ACPs and SHOs but we felt the need for such a forum where complainants could be heard directly from the people in presence of the officers concerned," he said.
"Besides this, we would also be open to suggestions," Rathore said.
He said public hearings will be held in Jodhpur Police Commissionerate periodically. "Next week, the same exercise would be held for West zone," he said.
