Jodie Foster to make TV directorial debut with 'Angie's Body'

Foster, 49, has directed four big screen projects and produced several others but 'Angie's Body' will be the first time she has taken the helm of a TV series, reported Ace Showbiz.

The show will be about a family-based crime empire led by a dangerous woman, and will be penned by Heroes writer Rob Fresco.

Foster will also produce the show. The "Silence of the Lambs" actress previously produced TV movie, 'The Baby Dance', in 1988.
