Joe Manganiello to star in 'Suicide Squad'?

Days after Joel Kinnaman confirmed he's going to star in the upcoming "Suicide Squad" as Rick Flag, rumours are abuzz that Joe Manganiello has been considered to act as Deathstroke.
The "Magic Mike" star had been in talks to take over the role. While nothing is not yet official, a source close to the production claimed "it is an almost certainty that Manganiello, 38, has the role", reported Ace Showbiz.
Should Manganiello's casting in the forthcoming movie be true, he will be joining the already on-board cast that consisted of Will Smith as Deadshot, Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress.

Based on the DC comic book, "Suicide Squad" tells the story of "the team of super-villains who are given a chance at redemption by the government. The catch: Their mission will probably kill them all."
Directed by David Ayer, the action film is slated to be released in US theatres on August 5 next year.
