"We have recently received the proposal to launch the project ''One million players by 2020'', to which we have agreed," said Jai Kumar Sinha, General Secretary of JSTTA.
Sinha, who was in the steel city in connection with the 2nd Jharkhand State Ranking Table Tennis Championship recently, said the objective of the campaign was to groom future players as well as to promote table tennis in the state.
Currently, Sinha said JSTTA was busy with a three-day Inter-School Table Tennis Championship at the state level commencing on 29th August at Guru Nanak Higher Secondary School, Ranchi.
"We are trying to involve as many students and youths as possible from across the state", he said.
