Chief Judge of City Sessions Court, M Mumtaz Khan while sending Mollah to judicial custody till November 5 directed that NIA would be free to interrogate him in jail as per its requirement.
The court had on October 22 remanded Mollah to NIA custody till October 31 for interrogation and unveiling the larger conspiracy in connection with the blast at Burdwan on October 2 in which two persons were killed while making hand grenades and improvised explosive devices.
Two women, who were also held in the case, are at present in judicial remand. One of them is the widow of one of the suspected terrorists killed in the blast.
Another accused Abdul Hakim, who was injured in the blast, is undergoing treatment at the state-run SSKM Hospital in the city.
