The 54-year-old Oscar-winning actress said the micro-blogging site is her ultimate guilty pleasure, reported Us magazine.
"Twitter is the one thing I'm addicted to. I follow a lot of comedians and news sites. I never sit quietly anymore," the "Still Alice" star said.
She also revealed that Thanksgiving holidays are her favourite.
"I like to bake. I always make cornbread at Thanksgiving, which is our our favourite holiday to host. We usually have between 25 and 40 people, our family and friends that we've known since the kids were little. Christmas is quieter. My son usually has a basketball tournament," she said.
The film will hit the theatres on November 20.
