The 66-year-old actress has been married to Roffey for 19 years and admitted a role has to be quite special to take her away from her beloved spouse, reported Femalefirst.
"Scripts come my way but it has to be something I really want because mostly I prefer being at home. It's the place where I feel most content and happiest."
Walters also revealed it was love at first sight when she met Roffey, with whom she has a daughter Maisie.
"I know there were tears in his eyes when I won my lifetime BAFTA award in 2014 because he's a big softie. His support over the years has been everything to me. One great thing about this stage of marriage is you have a lot more freedom and you can carry on getting to know each other. It's actually really joyful.
