The 42-year-old "Cape Fear" actress took to Twitter to remind the Academy about their oversight and ask them to include her "beloved" late father next year, reported Female First.
"I know the Academy didn't mean to overlook my dad #GeoffreyLewis in the memoriam who was loved by many. My dad #GeoffreyLewis was beloved and contributed over 220 roles in film and tv...@TheAcademy maybe you can remember to include him next year (sic)," she wrote.
Geoffrey died of natural causes in April 2015 at the age of 79.
He is survived by his second wife Paula Hochhalter and his 10 children, including Juliette as well as Lightfield, Matthew and Dierdre, who have also embarked on careers in acting.
