The 19-year-old singer was arrested yesterday morning after drag racing, and charged with DUI, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license.
Bieber later appeared in court wearing an orange jumpsuit, where he had his bond set at USD 2,500, reported Us magazine.
The singer was driving a yellow Lamborghini when he was stopped by the police. The singer was taken into custody after he failed a sobriety test.
Rather than hiding into his awaiting SUV and leaving immediately, Bieber sat up on the roof and acknowledged the crowds of people waiting for him.
Bieber reportedly used expletives while being searched by the officials.
The singer's drag-racing competitor, Khalil Amir Sharief, was also arrested for driving under the influence. His bail was set at USD 1,000.
