The 35-year-old record producer, who recently released new single "Can't Stop The Feeling," will come up with accompanying album later this year, reported Digital Spy.
The album will be the official soundtrack to DreamWorks' upcoming animated film "Trolls," for which Timberlake is serving as executive producer.
"Album will be out in September. 'Trolls' is really going to be our focus. And if the first single from the soundtrack is any indication, we're going to have a really good summer," Joe Riccitelli, RCA Records Executive Vice President/GM, said.
"Sometime early next year, more than likely. He's just really working on it now. When he's ready, he's ready. Justin does what he does, when he wants to do it," Riccitelli said.
"Can't Stop The Feeling" was Timberlake's first new music since his "The 20/20 Experience" album, which released in 2013.
