Juvenile held for gardener's murder

A juvenile has been apprehended in connection with murder of a gardener at a farm house in Fatehpur Beri area of South Delhi, police said today.
The gardener Panga Ram was found murdered with head injuries at the farm house near Dera Mod in Fatehpur Beri on July 20. Another man Ram Kumar was found lying a short distance away from the deceased, having serious injuries.
An FIR was registered at Fatehpur Beri in connection with the crime and investigation was launched.
Ram Kumar told the police that a boy (juvenile) who worked at a nearby beverage godown used to visit him. He had also visited them on the day of incident and demanded money from them.

When the duo refused to give any money to the boy, he allegedly took a beer bottle and smashed it on the head of Panga Ram. Also, he chased and attacked Ram Kumar after which he lost consciousness, said DCP Premnath of South district police.
The juvenile had also taken away mobile phone of Ram Kumar. Several raids were made at hidehouts of the boy in North, South and East Delhi and he was finally apprehended yesterday, added the officer.
