Initially, the 108 years old group will manufacture three different ranges of products from its existing global portfolio under grooming and beauty category.
Commenting on the development, KAI Group CEO & President Koji Endo said: "I foresee a great opportunity of doing business in India and acceptance of our high quality products by the Indian consumers".
KAI Manufacturing India, COO Rajesh U Pandya said: "India is the fastest growing major economy in the world today and opportunities are plenty for consumer product companies like us. It was always in our radar to enter to this attractive consumer market."
With this inauguration, India becomes the 5th country after Japan, China, Vietnam and Korea that KAI Group has manufacturing plants.
