Kamrup (Metro) dist election deptt take innovative steps to

Kamrup (Metro) district's election department has undertaken a number of steps to encourage participation of voters in the upcoming Assam Assembly elections on April 4 during the first phase of polls.
The Election Department has put stickers saying "Do vote on April 11. It's your right, Don't miss out" on LPG cooking cylinders to create voter awareness among women in the district comprising Guwahati.
A sky balloon with the message "Assam goes to the polls, please do cast your vote" for voter awareness has also been put up in front of GPO Meghdoot Bhawan here.
