Former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda today announced formation of the executive committee of his newly-floated Haryana Lokhit Party (HLP).
His brother Gobind Kanda has been nominated senior vice-president of the party, an HLP release said here.
Jai Singh Bishnoi, Ashok Buwaniwala and Umesh Sharma have been appointed vice-presidents of the party.
Former legislator Hari Ram Valmiki and advocate Tej Prakash have been named general secretaries of the HLP.
The party has also appointed secretaries and joint secretaries.
46-year-old Gopal Kanda, a former Haryana minister and an Independent MLA from Sirsa city, withdrew support to the Bhupinder Singh Hooda government over a month back and had launched his own political outfit on May 2.
The party is based in Gurgaon in the same building which has his MDLR airlines whose operations had been suspended earlier.
Kanda is facing trial in the suicide case of air hostess Geetika Sharma and is currently out on bail.
