'Queen' diva Kangana Ranaut looked mysterious and dreamy in a stunning deep purple gown as she walked the ramp for designer Manav Gangwani on the final day of Amazon India Couture Week 2015.
Gangwani ditched his signature style to bring alive the romance in his French-inspired collection "Le'amoureuse".
"It is a very unusual purple, close to deep wine and the colours Manav has used throughout his collection are very different. For me, it has been a beautiful experience because I love gowns. I love clothes and I love new ideas," Kangana, 28, said after the show.
"His couture usually is all about bridal wear and it has very strong Indian influence, but this time he went for something completely different and unexpected. He has given it a very international twist while retaining his design, the cuts and finishing which we love."
The actress has become seasoned when it comes to ramp walking but said she was nervous carrying the heavy gown this time.
"The gown is very heavy. It is at least 30 kgs, and I wasn't walking, the gown was pushing me. So, I was nervous as this is the longest ramp that could ever be there. But it was fun as all beautiful things come with a price."
Known for her minimalistic style, Kangana said she would not mind donning something as glittery as what she wore today.
"It is a couture collection and if I am going for a red carpet or if it is a wedding or any special event, I would want to stand out and I would love to wear something like this.
