Kanye West and photographer Annie Leibovitz have released a joint statement, in which the rapper says he has not accused her of not covering his wedding to reality TV star Kim Kardashian.
The pair said their representatives were in negotiations for weeks that were not completed by the time of the wedding, reported Us magazine.
"Kanye West's comments about Annie Leibovitz have been taken out of context and sensationalised," the statement read.
"Although Kanye expressed frustration that he was not able to collaborate with Annie Leibovitz at his recent wedding, he is not assigning blame, and is not accusing Annie in any way," it said.
"Annie would have been happy to do the portrait but she was never confirmed," it added.
The statement comes 48 hours after West said he had to edit his own wedding picture because Leibovitz pulled out a day before the ceremony.
"Let me tell you something about that kiss photo that my girl (Kardashian) put up... This was pissing my girl off during the honeymoon, she was exhausted because we worked on the photo so much because Annie Leibovitz pulled out right before the wedding. I think that she was, like, scared of the idea of celebrity," he had said.
