Karbonn unveils KitKat-powered Titanium S99 for Rs 5,990

Targeted at consumers in tier II and III towns, handset maker Karbonn today unveiled its new smartphone 'Titanium S99', powered by Android's latest KitKat operating system, priced at Rs 5,990.
The dual SIM Titanium S99 smartphone features a 512 MB RAM and 1.3 GHz quad core processor on a 10.1 cm (about four inches) touchscreen.
It also has a 5 megapixel rear camera, internal storage of 4GB (expandable upto 32GB) and 1,400 mAh battery.
"Android OS, 4.4 KitKat has numerous advantages. It takes system performance to a whole new level by offering better memory management. It provides all-in-one solution to user's communication needs by providing upgraded Hangouts App supported with improved SMS and MMS integration," Karbonn Executive Director Shashin Devsare said.
Android KitKat OS allows supports other features like Smarter Caller ID, faster multitasking, low-power location monitoring, redesigned downloads app and easy home screen switching to name a few, he said.

Both the smartphones will run on latest 4.4 KitKat OS aimed at enhancing the user's smartphone experience, it said in a release.
The smartphones are affordable and are targeted at students and young professionals in Tier II and III cities of India, it added.
Aqua i14 and Aqua N15 are both dual-SIM handsets loaded with features including 1.3 GHz Quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB ROM, an 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera with advanced picture quality.
Aqua i14 comes in two colours of white and black whereas Aqua N15 will be available in White, Black and Blue as well.

Under the partnership, Stylista's limited edition designer clothing will be sold on Myntra and Flipkart, it said in a release.
The collaboration will provide shoppers greater access to affordable designer wear, it added.
The first lot of designer collaborations includes Wendell Rodricks, Priyadarshini Rao, Nishka Lulla, Yogesh Chaudhary, Tanya Sharma and Rinku Dalamal.
The second round, launching shortly, includes Masaba Gupta, Shivan & Narresh, Neeta Lulla and musician and actress Monica Dogra's debut fashion line.
Stylista has also developed its own on-trend private label called Stylista Original, all of which are now available exclusively on Myntra and Flipkart under Rs 6,000.
