Kareena is a fabulous actress: R Balki

Director R Balki today showered praises on actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is playing the lead role in his upcoming film "Ki and Ka", calling her one of the finest actors in the industry.
"She (Kareena) is a fabulous actor. She is one of the finest actors the industry has produced. She goes by instincts...She doesn't do preparations. But she understands the script very well...I just have to give her nod. All great actors say I am director's actor, which means I am damn good I don't need a director," Balki told reporters here at the trailer launch of "Ki and Ka".

Balki's next "Ki and Ka" will see Arjun Kapoor playing a progressive house husband, who lovingly supports his wife played by Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is a super ambitious career-oriented woman.
Kareena insists she is a director's actor and did not do any preparations for her role in the film.
"I did no preparation. I am a director's actor. I work best with amazing directors. I work worst with bad directors. Balki sir was sure what he wanted and the chemistry between Arjun and me worked," she said.
"I am an instinctive actor and I don't come with any preconceived notion on the sets. So my director has to hold my hand as I am still a baby," she added.

Balki is all praises for both Arjun and Kareena.
"What is wonderful about them (Kareena and Arjun) is that she is playing the role of a man in the house and he is being the woman in the film. There is no bit of masculinity in her and femininity in him. One can be masculine and feminine and interchange roles and the world will be better place," he added.
