Karra, who was a founder member of the PDP, had resigned from the party and as an MP and joined the Congress in presence Rahul Gandhi on February 18.
He spoke to Azad for three hours and discussed various issues pertaining to political situation in in Jammu and Kashmir and organisational matters of the state Congress, party sources said.
"There should be realignment of the secular forces in the country, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir", Karra said and expressed concern about the "increasing alienation" and unemployment of the youth in the state.
