Kashmiri college students clash with security forces

Clashes broke out today between Kashmiri college students and security forces in Gogjibagh area of the city, a police official said.
The students of the Government Polytechnic College were protesting inside the college premises against the alleged highhandedness of security forces, the official said.
He said some students tried to march out on the road but were stopped by police, leading to clashes.
The students were dispersed by security forces using batons and tear smoke shells, he said.
He said there were no reports of anyone getting hurt in the clashes.
