In a memorandum submitted to Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office (PMO) Jitendra Singh, adelegation of Sampoorn Kashmir Sangathan (SKS)sought his intervention for their demands including jobs for those who have crossed the age to apply for government jobs and rehabilitation of displaced Kashmiri Pandits.
Thedelegation demanded that the overaged should be given a one-time package for last 26 years as a compensation, a government release issued today said.
The memorandum particularly emphasised on the demand for employment for the Kashmiri Pandit youths outside Valley, it said.
Another major demand put forward by the delegation is compensation to traders and a one-time relief package for all registered persons of displaced Kashmiri Pandit community, the release said.
Singh assured them that the Narendra Modi government is committed to ensure dignified return of the displaced community to the places of their origin in the Valley.
