Kaushal Vikas Yatra in Shimla on Sep 15, 16

All India Society for Electronics and Computer Technology (AISECT), in association with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), will organise Kaushal Vikas Yatra in Shimla on September 15 and 16, an AISECT representative said.

The main objective of the yatra is to spread awareness on new-age diploma courses in subjects such as digital marketing, big data hadoop among others.

This will be part of various such yatras already being held in Himachal Pradesh, the representative said.

Further, the importance of skill development will be emphasised during the programme, the representative added.

Information on schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana will also be shared during the event, the representative added.

The Kaushal Vikas Yatra was held in Kangra on Wednesday, in Kullu and Mandi on Thursday, and will be held in Solan on Monday. The programme will be held in Bilaspur and Hamirpur on Tuesday, in Una on Wednesday.
