Addressing his first rally after he resigned as Delhi Chief Minister on February 14 over Jan Lokpal bill issue, he also alleged that an industrialist was attempting to control some newspapers and TV channels.
He claimed that a section of media has been told to cover Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi and "defame" him.
Accusing the media of "denigrating" him by saying that he resigned as he could not govern, Kejriwal said he had stepped down as he did not want to compromise on principles after Congress and BJP prevented the introduction of Jan Lokpal Bill in the Delhi Assembly.
Kejriwal claimed that an editor-in-chief of a TV channel had met him yesterday and told him that he had resigned from his job as he was allegedly under pressure to only show Modi and Rahul, which went against his conscience.
He said a lot of hue and cry was made when he was alloted a three-bedroom flat in Delhi, "but media people do not dare to ask Modi and Rahul" about the money spent their rallies.
"We will also have to set right the media," he said.
The AAP leader also debunked opinion polls and surveys conducted before the polls, saying these had given his party 2-3 seats in Delhi assembly polls, but the party ended up getting 28 assembly seats.
"Money changes hands behind such surveys," he alleged.
