KELTRON bags Rs 4.38 cr order from Mazagon Docks

Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (Keltron) has received an order worth Rs 4.38 crore from Mumbai-based Mazagon Docks Ltd for supply of electromagnetic log for new ships under construction for Indian Navy.
"This equipment is used for measuring the speed of ships and is manufactured by the special Products group of Keltron Equipment Complex (KEC), Karakulam here," an official release said here today.
Keltron is the only indigenous manufacturer of this product and its supplies to defence sector help the country reduce dependence on imports, it said.
