Chief Secretary Dr K M Abraham presented at least 12 projects which would be taken up by the government by May next year when it completes two years in office.
The aim of the government was to complete various development projects under the 38 departments on a time bound manner, a release said.
"Today, various projects under six ministries were taken up. Tomorrow, projects under 12 ministries will come up for discussions", it said.
Administrative sanction has been given for the Rs 1028 crore Kerala Fibre Optic Network Project under the IT department. Twenty lakh people will be given free internet under the project. Steps to install 5000 wi-fi hot spots in five years was also progressing, the release said.
In the first phase, 2000 free wi-fi centres would be established and priority would be given to state government offices and hospitals, it said.
