Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has congratulated P V Sindhu for her historic victory at the World Badminton championship.
In a message, Vijayan said Sindhu has become the first Indian to win gold at the Badminton World Championships and her victory will serve as an inspiration to many.
Veteran athlete P T Usha also praised Sindhu's achievement and said passion and dedication for the sport will always be rewarded when hardwork comes into play.
"P V Sindhu's sucess will inspire generations to come. Hefty congragulations on winning the Gold at BWF Championships," Usha said in a Facebook post.
