Kerala Guv urges citizens to support Earth Hour

: Kerala Governor, Justice (Retd) P Sathasivam, has appealed to people and various institutions in the state to support observance of Earth Hour tomorrow.
In a message, he said they should switch off non essential lights between 8.30 PM and 9.30 PM tomorrow.
The governor pointed out that this initiative of WWF-India lends support to the nation's efforts to mitigate emissions and move towards renewable energy.
Since 2009, Earth Hour has been inspiring individuals,Organisations, Corporations and Governments to move towards a more responsible consumption and conservation of energy, the message said.
