BJP Vice President Avinash Rai Khanna today asked its party activists in Jammu and Kashmir to act as a bridge between the state government and the people so that problems of the masses are attended to and their grievances addressed.
"The party activists should act as bridge between the government and the people so that the people's grievances get addressed," Khanna, also Jammu and Kashmir in charge of the party, said.
Khanna, who is on a four-day visit to the state, today chaired a joint meeting of BJP workers of Jammu West and Jammu district during which he was briefed various party programmes where the achievements of the NDA government and the previous 10-months coalition government were highlighted.
While speaking in the meeting, Khanna said that the party activists have to fan out in every nook and corner with an objective of informing and enlightening the people about various welfare schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi exclusively for women, youth, senior citizens, border people, farmers, weaker and disadvantaged sections.
He said a lot has been done during the last two years by the PM which reflects commitment of his government as well as that of BJPto ensure progress and prosperity of the people in the entire country and in every region without any discrimination.
