Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today supported formation of Gurgaon Development Authority (GDA) and said that this demand is very old.
He said the previous governments kept the issue under wraps in files and made the issue complex.
Khattar was in Gurgaon to unveil the free Wi-Fi Zones of the first phase and to launch the 'Green Gurgaon' campaign, according to an official release.
"The negative attitude of previous governments made the (GDA) issue a complex one and the BJP government is now working on it. Discussion have been started and complexities are being removed," he said.
Asked about the suspension of six executive engineers of Gurgaon Municipal Corporation, Khattar said from day one, the stance of his government had been zero tolerance towards corruption.
He said Wi-Fi facility has been started in Gurgaon city without any assurance unlike Delhi. Haryana is ahead of many states and is at the top in some matter so it is wrong to compare the state with others.
