Khloe, 31, took to Twitter to give out the details about the infection, reported Us magazine.
"Staph infection is no joke. Mine was exacerbated by stress which is not a great combo. I'm under great medical care and receiving tons of love!," she tweeted.
"The Strong Looks Better Naked" author canceled an appearance on her book tour on November 18, tweeting that she needed "to lay low until we narrow down what's wrong" and "Stress can run our bodies down so please everyone take care of yourselves.
