Three Noida-based persons - Sanju, Naresh and Narendra - have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping, police said.
Rathin Basu, 50, was kidnapped last evening along with his driver, after he had left his Sector 71 office for home.
Police swung into action after being informed about the kidnapping by Basu's family, DIG K Satyanarayana said.
The kidnappers were held in Civil Lines area of the district, the DIG said.
Police said that owner of the bungalow where Basu was being held, a garments merchant, is absconding.
