KMC polls: Left lashes out at TMC, police

Lashing out at the Trinamool Congress and Kolkata police for working in tandem to turn KMC election into a "farce", West Bengal Left Front chairman Biman Bose today called for resistance against undemoractic practices of the ruling party.
"I have grown up in this city. I never saw such a scale of violence during KMC polls. They have turned the election into a farce and the police and the SEC helped do that. TMC is neither a democratic party nor do they believe in democratic values and practices," Bose said.
He was addressing a rally in the city to protest against alleged police inaction during KMC polls.

"The time has come to put up resistance against undemocratic practices and hooliganism of TMC. We can't let the state go into the hands of anti-socials," Left leaders told the rally.
