The marathon, to be flagged off from Red Road, will have five race categories. Full marathon of 42 km, half marathon of 21 km, open and corporate challenge of 10 km each and a fun run of 5 km.
This year's edition had 15000 participants, the organisers said.
Paes said the marathon will pass through some of the most beautiful places in the city -- Park Street, Maidan and Victoria Memorial gardens.
"Combining the beauty and culture of our city with sports is something which is very good," he said adding that sports needs corporate backing on a large scale.
