"This will also be the first time that the National Lawn Bowls will be held on Natural Grass Lawns, which will benefit the Indian players as the Glasgow games will also be held on the same surface," the West Bengal Bowling Association said.
The field boasts of the Jharkhand quartet of Sunil Bahadur, the Asia Pacific Merdeka Cup 2012 singles gold medalist, Dinesh Kumar and Lovely Choubey, the Mixed Pairs gold medalist in the Asia Pacific Merdeka Cup this year and Farzana Khan mixed pairs silver medalist in the Asia Pacific Merdeka Cup 2012.
