Coinciding with the annual five-day event, the International Sand Art Festival is also slated to be held at Chandrabhaga beach at Konark.
The annual festival is one of the biggest dance festivals in the country, bringing champions of different classical and traditional dance forms like Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Manipuri, Odissi, Mohiniyattam and Kathak.
This year 10 national and international acclaimed artistes/groups from Raipur, Chennai, Kerala, Manipur, Hyderabad and Kolkata have confirmed their participation at the festival, the sources said.
