Konkan Rly introduces "Clean My Coach" facility in 2 trains

The Konkan Railway (KR) has introduced "Clean My Coach" facility two of its express trains.
The facility has been introduced in Konkan Kanya and Mandovi Express from yesterday. The first service was made available in train no. 10104 Up Mandovi Express that departed from Madgaon for Mumbai yesterday.
and send it to 58888 so that the Onboard Housekeeping Staff (OBHS) can attend his/her coach.
KR in a statement issued here appealed to passengers to avail of the services and enjoy their travel in a clean environment.
"Konkan Railway always strives to provide better amenities and facilities to its esteemed passengers for their comfortable journey to ensure customer satisfaction. This is part of the Swachh Bharat - Swachh Rail Mission of our Prime Minister and Minister of Railways," it said

Last month, Indian Railway launched "Clean My Coach" initiative as part of its Swachh Rail, Swachh Bharat campaign through which a railway passenger can send an SMS to a prescribed number if the coach requires cleaning.
Passengers request is immediately acknowledged through SMS on mobile phone along with a code.
