Haryana's Anjum Moudgill finished second with a total of 445, while Commonwealth Games medallist Lujja Gauswami of Gujrat settled for the bronze medal shooting 433.3 at the Balewadi Shooting Range.
In the men's 25m standard pistol championship, Olympic silver medallist Vijay Kumar took the pole position in the qualification round shooting a total of 571, while trailing him just by a point was Gurpreet Singh. Omkar Singh from the Navy was placed third with a total of 568. The finals for this category will be conducted tomorrow.
Railways finished second with a total of 1693, while the bronze medal went to BSF, who shot a total of 1680.
Moudgill might have missed out on the gold in the 50m rifle 3 position by a fair margin, but she made up for her loss by winning the yellow metal in the junior women's category for the same event. She shot a total of 582 to become the new national champion in 50-metre rifles 3 position category, outclassing defending champion Elizabeth Susan Koshy.
