Speaking at the conclusion function of the first ever batch of certified KP displaced women from Jagti under Recognition of Prior Learning Program (RPL), Jammu and Kashmir Minister of State for Tourism Priya Sethi said it is a matter of pride that women of the state have come forward to join the skill development mission of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The batch of 60 women has got training for cutting and tailoring.
The Minister who was chief guest at the event also distributed certificates among the participating women.
MLC Surinder Ambardar, Vice-Chancellor, Central University, Jammu Prof Ashok Aima, CEO, Apparel Sector Skill Council, Government Of India Roopak Vashistha, Moti Koul, Raj Nehru and prominent members of the community were present on the occasion.
