Kristin Bauer van Straten joins 'The Kingmakers'
The drama centres on newcomer Gus Halper's Eli, who infiltrates a secret society at an Ivy League university in order to investigate the death of his sister during her freshman year.
Bauer van Straten has signed on to play Maeve Vandemeer, an art professor who is married to the dean of the school, Deadline reported.
The character will be hiding an ongoing affair with Adrian Pasdar's Senator Walden.
The 48-year-old actress currently appears in the recurring role of "Maleficent" in ABC drama series "Once Upon a Time".
