The stock ended 2.77 per cent higher at Rs 1,455.80
on BSE. During the day, it jumped 3.74 per cent to Rs 1,469.60 -- its 52-week high.
On NSE, shares of the company rose 2.76 per cent to close at Rs 1,455.60.
The infrastructure giant yesterday reported 48.41 per cent jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 1,618 crore for the third quarter ended December 2017.
It had posted a net profit of Rs 1,090 crore in October- December quarter in the year-ago period, L&T said in a BSE filing.
