The deceased has been identified as Tekchand Jatav and the injured person who has been rushed to a hospital, was identified as Laxman.
The incident occurred when the duo were sleeping in the shop and the dug out basement of adjoining building. Due to heavy rainy water during night, the side wall of the shop they were sleeping in collapsed, police said.
A case has been registered with the NEB police station against the neighborer who was constructing the house from the underground floor or basement, they said.
