These complaints were received by the department between September 29 and October 1, said a Delhi government official.
The Labour department has also disbursed an amount of Rs 37,14,662 under various labour laws like Employees Compensation Act, 1923, Delhi Shops and Establishment Act, 1954, Minimum Wages Act, 1948, Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, Payment of Bonus Act, 1965, Contract Labour Act, 1970 etc, which has benefited 7674 workers during the same period.
At present, eight Welfare Centres are functioning in different parts of Delhi under the Labour department.
