Labourer killed in cement factory

A 21-year-old labourer was today killed when he was allegedly caught in a conveyor belt at a cement manufacturing plant in Chittorgarh in Rajasthan, police said here.
The incident occurred this afternoon in the factory located in Chanderi area, SHO Chanderi police station Vijay Shankar Sharma said.
Pankaj Kumar, who hails from Madhya Pradesh, injured after he was accidentally caught in the belt, the SHO said, adding Kumar was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him dead.
After the incident other labourers boycotted work in protest and demanded compensation from the company management, the SHO said.
