The 28-year-old Lahiri, who won the Malaysian Open and Hero Indian to jump into the World's elite Top-50, is looking at reaching out to new heights as he plays his sixth successive Major.
His series of Majors began with the Open last year at Hoylake and he has not missed any since. But this has been the year of big league for Lahiri.
Currently, leading the Asian Tour Order of Merit, he is 11th in the European Money List (called Race to Dubai) and is ninth on the standings for the International Team for President's Cup.
"It has been a big year, but I need to build on it. I have learnt a lot and now that needs to be put to use. The last week at WGC was great over the weekend as I fought back from back spasms in the first round and had a decent weekend, but now I need to put a good four rounds together. I feel a good week is around the corner and my game is in a good place," said Lahiri, who was T-49 at the Masters and T-30 at the Open.
