Lana Del Rey confirms split from longtime boyfriend

Singer Lana Del Rey has split from her boyfriend of three years Barrie-James O'Neill, a former Kassidy rocker who performs under the name Nightmare Boy.
The couple were thought to have got engaged earlier this year when Del Ray, 28, was spotted wearing an impressive sparkler, reported Daily Mirror.
"He is a wonderful person. But there are some things with which he must deal. I don't want to explain that further. It was hard on our relationship, I no longer felt free," she said in an interview.
Just a fortnight ago, the singer had mentioned about their rocky time together.

"We have a difficult road. He's a very dark character. He has months on end where it's a really dark stretch of writing and waiting, he has his total own world," she had said.
