The "Curb Your Enthusiasm" actor will present the November 4 episode of the show.
The announcement was made on-air during the episode hosted by actor Kumail Nanjiani.
The official Twitter account of "SNL" thereafter shared a poster, which revealed that singer Miley Cyrus will be the musical guest for the show.
"SNL returns on November 4 with host Larry David and musical guest @MileyCyrus!" the tweet read.
The 43rd season premiere of the NBC late-night sketch series on September 30 saw actor Ryan Gosling as the host with JAY-Z as musical guest.
