The feudal action film centres on Owen portraying the knight Raiden, who has a fierce loyalty to his master Bartok (Morgan Freeman).
When Bartok is betrayed by a corrupt emperor (Peyman Moaadi), Raiden leads a group of knights into a battle of vengeance.
'Last Knights' international cast includes Iranian actress Shohreh Aghdashloo ('Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters'), Norwegian actor Aksel Hennie ('Hercules'), South Korea's Ahn Sung-ki ('The Tower') and Italian star Giorgio Caputo ('The Hideout').
The film is directed by Japanese filmmaker Kazuaki Kiriya, who reached international audiences with animated adaptation Casshern and fantasy epic Goemon.
