Last week's Cuttack murder case solved

Three youths, including a key accused in last week's Badambadi gangster's murder here, were arrested by the Cuttack city police today.
A murder convict, Ganesh Rout (42) alias Nilei of Shankarpur area was found murdered near the bus terminus eight days ago with deep cut injuries in his body.
City DCP Sanjeev Arora today told reporters that the main accused Seshadev Behera and two of his associates - Rajesh Jena and Chandan Khuntia - were arrested and the weapons of assault - two daggers, were seized from them.
"Since investigations are still on, further arrests in the case cannot be ruled out," Arora informed.

Police said the July 14 murder was the outcome of previous rivalry between the key accused Seshadev and the deceased. The arrested youths have confessed to the crime during interrogation, they said.
