Launch of PURA pilot projects delayed
"Two PURA (Provision of Urban Amenities to Rural Areas) pilot projects of the first set of nine pilot projects were launched on February 24, 2012 at Thalikulam Panchayat (Trissur) and Thirurangadi (Malappuram) of Kerala...The remaining seven projects are under various stages of approval or appraisal," Ramesh said during Question Hour.
He said PURA projects were pending in Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra and Puducherry.
